Winter Training

As Minnesotan triathletes, winter training seems to come a lot quicker and last a lot longer than a lot of other triathletes we follow all over social media. This means a LOT of pool swims, a LOT of bike trainer time, and a LOT of treadmill runs.

Also, a lot of bundling up when you can't take one more treadmill run.

We tend to like to look on the positive side over here: all this time flexes the mental toughness muscle. Necessary to utilize in both racing and life. Thankfully, with warmer weather continually coming are way we are looking forward to more training time outside!

In order to mix up the monotony of that can come with doing the same thing day in and day out, we like to throw in some extracurricular activities. You guessed it, more activities to keep our bodies movin' and groovin'!

Lifting to improve speed by improving efficiency. And snow shoeing, because we can.
